Brife introduction:
Dr. Wenjun Liu received her B. A. degree and Master degree from Xiamen University, where she performed graduate research with Professor Peiqiang Huang on organic syntheses of alkaloids. In 2009, she began her Ph. D studies in bioorganic chemistry at the University of Strasbourg, under the direction of Professor Michel Rohmer. After getting her Ph. D degree, she joined the Royal Society of Chemistry and moved to Beijing in 2013. She is now the Deputy Editor of Frontiers journals, a collection of international journals developed by the Chinese Chemical Society, the Royal Society of Chemistry and research institutes of China. She is working on the commissioning, promotion and strategic development of Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers and Organic Chemistry Frontiers.
Abstact:
The Royal Society of Chemistry is a world’s leading chemistry community, advancing excellence in the chemical sciences. As a not-for-profit publisher, the Royal Society of Chemistry publishes 40 peer-reviewed journals, including Chemical Science, Chemical Communications and the collection of Frontiers journals in collaboration with the Chinese Chemical Society, etc. This talk is to provide an overview of the publishing activities of the Royal Society of Chemistry and its collaboration with the Chinese chemistry community, assisting the researchers in accessing and publishing with the Royal Society of Chemistry journals.
